Why You Need an Account at FamilyAndHeirs.com

Every year, countless folks die and no living relative knows or remembers if they had a Will or Trust.  But even if they had one, no one can find it. Or they find a Will or Trust, but everyone questions whether it is the latest version or if it had since been changed.

For too many people, their Wills or Trusts may never be found after they're gone.

But that's hardly the only problem faced by families who are suddenly in turmoil. They often have no idea, or sometimes conflicting ideas, of what their deceased relative's wishes were for a funeral or celebration of life, or where he or she had bank and stock accounts, or even who needs to be notified, or where to pay the mortgage or the rent.  Will they know who's your lawyer, doctor, insurance agent, stockbroker, and if you visited with a Funeral Director and made any arrangements in advance? And, of course, who would you like to re-home your dog or cat? There are a lot of questions, questions your heirs are uncomfortable asking you.

These questions, and more (like, who do you want as pallbearers, what do you want included in your eulogy, do you have a public service storage space, a post office box, what life insurance do you have?) are not answered in most Wills or Trusts.

FamilyAndHeirs.com offers a solution to these issues.   We offer a comprehensive Pre-Planning Questionnaire that covers all of these questions and more, and you can answer all of them or some of them as you choose.  We even ask about your family history, your ancestors, where they came from and what their lives were like.  We ask about special family recipes and family stories, because so much family knowledge gets lost each time the older generation passes.

And when your answers and your documents are held in secure, encrypted storage at FamilyAndHeirs.com, you can go online and change anything whenever you need, as often as you need.

In addition to our very comprehensive Pre-Planning Questionnaire, our service includes secure document storage and for your uploaded papers and records. Your information is held in encrypted form on our very secure web servers, and can only be seen by you and by those trusted heirs to whom you have given our special Read-Only password.  Those to whom you have given your Read-Only password will be able to read your answers and see your uploaded documents (and thus know your wishes and instructions), but they will not be able to add, delete, or modify anything.

We charge only $49 for registration which includes the first year's service.  We also offer an Upgrade Plan for $69 for the first year.  A Standard Plan account comes with 25 MBs of storage included.  The Upgrade Plan provides twice the storage space (50 MBs) or your documents (but there may be enough storage for your needs in our Standard Plan).

Rest assured that your wishes, information, and thoughts will be found so that your relatives can honor your instructions and directives by opening an account at FamilyAndHeirs.com.
